We have created an innovative partnership with Nelson Homes, a Canadian company that maximizes savings in construction costs through manufacturing pre-panelized framing kits for all of our designs.

PANELIZATION DEFINED:
Panelization provides the client with the opportunity to buy a house as a kit of parts to be delivered and assembled on site. These kits begin with framed panels that include pre-sheathed exterior walls (exterior walls with plywood already applied). This allows the framing crew to simply stand up the walls on site and connect them together. This can cut construction labor for the house framing considerably. With additional options such as: roofing packages, door and window packages, and exterior sidings, you can virtually create a complete package that is simply delivered to the site for assembly.

COST SAVING BENEFITS:

• Reduces project time by considerably reducing the time it takes to construct the house framing, (the walls and roof of the house).
• Reduces construction material waste in turn lowering material costs because you only pay for materials that are delivered to the site, pre-cut.
• Reduces labor costs because of the reduction in time. For Example: a typical contractor could take approximately 3 weeks to construct and connect the walls for a 3,000 square foot house, and an additional week to place the roof trusses and sheathing. That would put the total framing time at approximately 4 weeks for framing. If the house is pre-panelized by Nelson Homes, then that same house arrives with each wall constructed and numbered for immediate placement on the foundation. For the same 3,000 square foot house, that wall placement and truss layout should take approximately 1 _ weeks for a possible savings of up to 2 _ weeks of time and labor.
